Clinique CC cream

I don't normally do make-up (just moisturise) but I've just bought the CC cream. It's really nice but I do feel made up as I'm just not used to it. My face looks flawless but my neck area does not. How far down do I put the cream on? Do I need to apply up to jawline area or blend down to neck?

I got some to test in the product trial. I love it and haven't noticed any massive difference between face and neck. Have you definitely got the right shade? I blend to just under jaw. I also use a little bronzer though and include my neck and decolletage in that, such a small amount though it can't be making that much difference?

Yes, definitely the right shade. I think it's more that I never put make up on and I'm not used to it. I have rosacea type redness and uneven skin tone normally. It just feels like a big contrast I guess. Maybe I just need to get used to it. I'll blend to under the jawline, wasn't sure where to stop.

Ok, I've sussed the problem. When the Clinique lady put it on me, she put it on quite thickly (well, for me - it was not on that thick tbf) and I copied her and just felt too made up.

Anyway, for the last few days I have just have put less on. This morning, on the school run, a mum and a TA both said I was looking nice. Woo-hoo. Grin
