Recemtly lost quite a bit of weight, now a size 12/14 with size 16 boobies. Anyways I've brought this www.riverisland.com/women/playsuits--jumpsuits/playsuits/Cream-floral-cut-out-playsuit-636146 today. Is it ok to wear this at 31 years of age or am I getting ideas above my station? It does look nice on =, very 1940's

31!! Get in some elasticated slacks now! It's lovely and I'm sure you look lovely in it too.

iheartshoes · 31/05/2013 22:02

That's gorgeous ! Wear with pride :)

gindrinker · 01/06/2013 07:23

I'm 29 and a half and have a navy floral playsuit. I wear mine with tights and brouges.
90% of people will assume its a dress. Mr Gin is perplexed by mine. He doesn't understand.

It's very pretty, not too young for 31 and we finally have the sunny weather for it!

trixymalixy · 01/06/2013 10:14

I'm 36, and I am looking for a play suit. I quite like the one you've bought.

AlwaysSleepingBeauty · 01/06/2013 11:04

That's a lovely play suit, you should definitely wear it and not worry:)

Ujjayi · 01/06/2013 11:11

That's really 40s looking - very cute. What are you going to wear with it?

Am very jealous. I am so long in the body I cannot contemplate wearing one.

BunnyLebowski · 01/06/2013 11:16

That would be lovely if it were a tea dress but I really dislike playsuits.

Adults just do not look good in toddler wear.

Well bloody done on the weight loss! The shopping world is your oyster now Grin

ClaireandGeorge · 01/06/2013 17:50

Trixy there's some lovely ones in river island.

Ujjayi I'm not sure really, I was looking at some nice brown pumps today as heels might make it a but short, ending up buying a lovely pair of very high sandals though (although not to go with playsuit). I'm only 5'2'' and although it has to go over my boobs I can't see it fitting someone much taller.

Bunny I felt like you but it does look like a dress on with the added bonus of not flashing your pants! Thanks for the well done. I really enjoyed my shopping trip the other day, first time since before I fell pregnant (March 2011) that I've not just felt fed up.

That's lovely! I bet it's comfortable too and you don't have to worry about your skirt blowing up in the wind...

gindrinker · 01/06/2013 19:16

I wore mine today and forgot how much of a pain the arse they are...

ClaireandGeorge · 02/06/2013 10:01

Gindrinker, why are they a pain? It still has the tags on.

I think low wedges or clog sandals would look really good with it.

I think they have the potential to irritate because going to the loo would be a faff.
