Wore my new gladiator sandals today and the inner sole (which is supposed to be leather) has worn off by the toes and heels after just a few hours of wear. See picture on my profile. It is like spray on brown veneer over white. Would you return them? Trouble is I love them and already had compliments! Think they were £35 quid though.

I'm sure you don't! Perhaps you're just more picky,it might not bother some people. I've had it happen to other shoes just would expect better from Clarks.

As an aside, when I spray my underarms with anti perspirant when I wear sandals I always give the underside of my feet a light spray.

Products specifically for the feet can be expensive and I find my normal deodorant/antiperspirant works fine and keeps feet from getting that sticky feeling in sandals.

I am a big fan of talcum powder in other footwear but for sandals the powdery look isn't very good!
