Flossing teeth - what do you use?

I use floss, but am thinking of buying a rechargeable gadget at great expense but I'm wondering if they're worth the money. Do they do the job? And make it less boring? Which is best - the air or water type? Anyone want to share wisdom?

Ooh, I've never heard of these gadgets. I use one of those little interdental brush things for a could of funny gaps I have and then dental floss for the rest. Can't help thinking that a flossing gadget sounds like a bit of a con but happy to be enlightened by someone who knows!

I'm a dentist. Don't waste your money, floss is all you need.

We've got the sonicare water one. I think it's miles better than flossing as my teeth are really close together and I can never be arsed. With this though, it's easy. So for us it was worth the money.

I use the little floss harps. Works well for me.

My teeth are very close together so floss tends to get stuck. I use satin dental tape which is a bit more expensive but effective. I am evangelical about flossing as my gums used to be in quite a poor state and bled all the way through two pregnancies but after 3 years of regular flossing they are much healthier looking.

I always had problems getting the floss between my teeth but my dentist showed me how to do it.

floss - the tape kind. I have a thing called a hummingbird (!!) which is basically a vibrating cocktail stick for flossing. Its crap.
