Leg waxing- how long between sessions?

I had a full leg wax 2 weeks ago for the first time. Already the regrowth is too noticeable for bare legs but too short to be re waxed. What do I do? I don't want to shave as I wanted to be re waxed when the hair is long enough. At £21 a pop this may work out more expensive than I first thought. So, how long does your wax last? Am I an excessively hairy beast?!

I can go weeks now but only after 25 yrs of waxing!
Go back as soon as your beautician says she can wax, after a couple of treatments the hair will start to be less. It's no fun when you're trying to break the cycle I know!

I leave it 6 weeks. I'm a recent convert and after a couple of weeks after the first waxing I was in the same position as you! Each time I go back the hair seems finer and less obvious. Perhaps try a couple more visits and see if you can notice a difference.

It varies from person to person but normally the more you wax, the finer the hairs grow back and you can go more time between waxes. Try to resist the urge to shave!

Do you have a teaching college near you that has a RWE salon with beauty students? In our local college you can get a leg wax for about £6 and the students are more than capable. Maybe do that for a while?

I got a Veet EasyWax Electrical thingy from Boots and it works a treat. Think you've just got to grin and bear the re growth. Should get finer.

I used to have a full leg wax every 3 weeks for years. Never noticed hairs getting finer. It all depends how hairy you are

The college suggestion is a good one, but it's hard enough getting leave sanctioned babysitters to attend my local salon for an hour, nevermind a schlep into town!
