Gui Laroque?

DH has bought me 2 lovely bags at an auction... Never heard of the brand but can't find a website for them, only on eBay and the like. They don't seem to be sold in any department stores either.
Anyone heard of them/bought anything from them?

Gui Laroque is a new designer brand that we are currently showcasing. Gui Laroque are synonymous with 100% jacquard weave silk ties, exclusive designed cuff links and other exquisite articles for the fine gentleman, soon to have a ladies range under the name 'Laroque'.

There is a website but it is still under construction.

There is a slightly obscure French fashion house called Guy Laroche (of Fidji and Drakkar Noir fame) - wonder if this is an attempt to ride on their name recognition?

That was my immediate thought Frugal - a bit like when Littlewoods had an 'Amari' range!!!

Hhm interesting! I'll use them regardless as they are lovely but was thinking of gifting one... But she is a wee bit of a bag snob so would be googling. Not worth the hassle

Gui Laroque is a fake "designer brand" trying to run on the reputation of an expensive designer brand called Guy Laroche. Thats why you only get it on ebay.

Another one you find on Ebay is "Rochas" but its not John Rochas
