Party shoes

I have a big (BIG) birthday coming up and I'm having a party. I've bought this dress, but I'm stuck when it comes to the shoes to go with it. The model is wearing plain black courts and they look nice in the picture but I'm afraid they will look boring in real life. Anyone got any bright ideas? I don't want super-high heels and I'd rather not spend more than £100. (£50 would be better.)

I think black I'd the tight colour so why not go for sandals?

Great dress. I'd go for navy. The Whistles Cassini mid-heel stilettoes are comfortable and very, very flattering. They do them in lots of colours including navy.

Flattering... that's good to know. I've looked at courts online but they all look the same until you actually try them on.

Someone on another thread mentioned Shoes of Prey, where you design your own shoes. Have been having some fun there. In fact, I have spent far too much time on there already today, and it's not 8.30 yet.
