I'm going shopping today...

I like:
Narciso Rodriguez
Black Orchid
Coco - Chanel

These are heavy hitters, and with warmer weather and a new baby I'd like something lighter/fresher...
Trouble is when I smell something summery floral it doesn't seem very 'me'.

All suggestions welcome...

I love Calvin Klein - Euphoria. Always get asked about it when I wear it.
I also love Elizabeth Arden Fifth Avenue.
Neither are floraly or heavy.

We have similar tastes! You may conside Coco Noir which is lighter than Coco?
My 'summer' favourites are Sisley Eau du Soir, Chanel 19, Chanel Cristalle. They are shypre/citrusy and not floral.
Maybe good old YSL Rive Gauche?
You seem to like chypre and oriental perfumes, but I cannot think of a summery oriental. Maybe someone else with more knowledge will suggest something

Also Miss Dior (eithe rthe classic or the vamillay Miss Dior cherie)

I love Dior perfumes - Addict, Diorrissimo. Though not sure how 'light' they are. Um Gucci Flora range? or would you consider something with just a couple of notes, like Jo Malone or Miller Harris? Oooh! Diptique Philosykos? it's fig, which is very fresh / light imo.
