I need shoe help!
I've just bought a House of Oliver petticoat to go under my skirts and dresses.
My style is. Um. Possibly a bit eccentric. Vintage 50s with a bit of the Gothic thrown in for good measure, and the odd touch of the Pre-Raphaelites.
I need a pair of flat(tish) shoes that will work well with opaques or bare legs under my skirts and petticoats. I already have a pair of cute tan ankle boots with rivets, and suede shoe-boot things with a high block heel from Kurt Geiger.
Whatever I get needs to be comfortable and chic and sort of challenge the whole petticoat thing so I don't look like I'm in fancy dress (even though that's exactly what's going on inside my little head
)
My ideas so far (from Clark's!) are these rather lovely brogues, and these ballerina wedges.
But I am SUCH a shoe twit. What do you think? Any alternatives?
