Cheap but good 'Touche Eclat'

Been using the Body shop one, very good effect but it has just ran out Shock! It didn't last long. Don't have time to drive to Aldi for Lacura.

Is there anything in Boots or Superdrug that is cheap and cheerful?

Collection 2000! It's brilliant

ZacharyQuack · 15/05/2013 11:52

Maybelline do a good clicky brush pen concealer.

ArcticRoll · 15/05/2013 12:42

Clinique one is cheaper, (but not cheap) than YSL and better imo.

I use the No 7 one and find it just the same as the touché eclat

Whitershadeofpale · 15/05/2013 13:25

I've not used it but I've heard the collection 2000 one is excellent/

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 15/05/2013 14:31

Ok, just bought one from Collection 2000. And their cream blusher with highlighter and primer. Smile

After years of buying touch éclat I switched to collection 2000 and found it to be better!

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 15/05/2013 14:45

Tip for the Collection 2000 - no need to use the poking wand thing to apply to skin - I just use a little fine brush to pick up a tiny bit of concealer from the stalk of the wand, and use the brush to apply to the skin. Easy to blend that way, and putting on thin, thin layers is better than dobbing it on with the wand thingy. A tiny bit goes a really long way and it is buildable if you need to apply a second thin layer. This avoids any under eye creasing too.

Brilliant! - - thanks for that -- I spend far too much on touche eclat Smile

GoAndAskDaddy · 15/05/2013 20:42

Boujois (?or Bourjois) is my new fave. Brilliant (and cheap).

Sheshelob · 15/05/2013 20:44

Ditto No 7. Almost identical to TE. Transforms my saddle sack bags into mere pockets...

I love my Garnier caffeine roll-on thing

They're quite often half price in Superdrug, making them around £5, and it's lasted my about a year, despite using it nearly every day?! Confused

mamalovesmojitos · 15/05/2013 21:13

Essence one is great.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 15/05/2013 23:11

I had the Garnier one, must have been over a year Confused but I didn't think it stayed in to long. And it didn't highlight like the Body Shop one.

I think I bought the Collection one too light though. Will check again tomorrow but can always keep it for the winter and buy now a medium one

Barbara daly light effect concealer from tesco

Fab range - currently on 3 for 2

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 16/05/2013 12:35

And again: ... must have had it for over a year but didn't think it stayed on for too long.

Garnier roll on thing is excellent (and I speak as a former devotee of T.E.)
