Do you prefer skirts or pants?

Browsing most threads, there seems to be a lot of emphasis upon jeans and pants as opposed to skirts and dresses (dresses mostly discussed for special occasions, etc). There are a lot less skirts available to buy in stores, too, compared to jeans and pants.

What do you prefer?
I think I am most comfortable in skirts and dresses, but often gravitate to jeans because of the damn weather. I think that I suit dresses and skirts more, but often wonder if I look too dressy......and then there's the problem of bare legs or tights!

Jeans definitely seem more popular online, judging by inspiration posts at pinterest and tumblr......do you think skirts have had their day?

I prefer skirts and dresses and long ones so there is ease of movement

I wear mostly skirts and dresses. Shorts are quite hard to pull off and they can look very frumpy if not done right. Trousers are tricky to fit and I absolutely hate the typical flared black or grey ones worn by so many office workers. I like vintage-style trousers with high waists but they are hard to find; I absolutely hate those contemporary trousers that dig into your stomach and give even the slimmest person a muffin top.

I like skirts and dresses but trousers suit my lifestyle much better atm. If I worked in an office I think I would wear dresses much more. I also get a bit chilly in dresses when it's a bit warm for tights/not boiling - so for most of the British so-called summer Grin

I've also found over the last couple of years that most skirts in the shops are too short for me for everyday.

I look slimmer in a skirt though. I should make more effort!
