Waterproof mascara over normal mascara

Will this work? Will it prevent me looking like a drowned goth when messing around in a swimming pool?

I don't want to have to undergo the itchiness of eyelash extensions.

why not just waterproof mascara? [maverick]

clinique power lash over normal mascara works. I use power lash all the time but if I need extra oomph then I use badgirl mascara first.

Because I like the Mascara I use and its a treatment one as well, so I want to make it waterproof.

I am very demanding.

So the waterproof one prevents the other one migrating down your face successfully?

It stops smudging, which I have a major issue with. I have never tried both in a pool but the clinique one doesn't move until you wash it off. Blinc mascara is the same as power lash too (I think)
