East

I have never seen East mentioned on here for clothes - neither positively or negatively.
I was in there yesterday and saw some really nice things. My Mum also liked some which made me a bit unsure - I'm in my 40s and she's in her 70s!
Have I just strayed into middle aged Mum dressing?

Some of their things are lovely, I practically live in knitted dresses from east, good quality, wash well and don't bobble at all. I'm a red head and their colours work well for me too. They also have some superb sales.

Am 46 and have had some lovely knitwear from.East in past year, all bought in sakes which are great.
Some stuff is a bit frumpy,I find their dresses a bit long on me and the tops are sometimes verging on Marks' Classic Collection territory, but fabric quality is excellent and there are some real gems amongst their stuff.
Accessories are good too, particularly scarves and jewellery.

I saw some nice trousers and tops a few weeks ago and all were natural materials. I am 35, I also wasn't sure!!

The trousers were way to short for me (am 5'9"), so I didn't have to decide!! Might take a look again

Sales,not sakes!

Phew - I bought a cardigan and scarf so glad I haven't had a total fashion fail. I've been hanging on to my River Island days but think it's time to admit they're finally over and go for something more grown up.
