Nay. It looks like a lampshade.

Plus I imagine it would be difficult to see where you are actually walking when wearing it.

dexter73 · 11/05/2013 21:48

It's huge! Is it for an occasion or for just out and about?

Nagoo · 11/05/2013 21:49

No.

Unless you are Margo and Jerry will be nearby to guide you everywhere.

pictish · 11/05/2013 21:49

Where would you wear something like that?

pictish · 11/05/2013 21:50

Negotiating doorways could be difficult.

MrsLettuce · 11/05/2013 21:54

better? Ignore the first picture.

??????????????????????????

Sorry but no.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/05/2013 21:55

And even more no to the 2nd one.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/05/2013 21:56

Oh you mean the straw not the pink? Still no but a smaller no.

MrsLettuce · 11/05/2013 21:58

Fuck no, not pink.

A small no is good Wink

OP posts:
Wolfcub · 11/05/2013 21:59

erm, no!

EleanorFarjeon · 11/05/2013 22:04

No!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/05/2013 22:10

:)

What's it FOR?

MrsLettuce · 11/05/2013 23:38

Oh right, yes, for summer. As in I'm not in the UK (but not somewhere hot, just a bit warmer) and I struggle once it gets above 21 degrees. A sun hat is apparently advisable.

OP posts:
MrsLettuce · 11/05/2013 23:40

I like these ones (I know they're odd) but was worried the first one, which looks better made was too big. I fancy big but not continent sized.

OP posts:
MsWinnieBaygo · 11/05/2013 23:56

Yes, the first one is definitely too big Grin. I can understand the need for a sunhat and whilst I'm personally not keen at all ever on that style the stripey second one that you linked is better IMO

MrsLettuce · 12/05/2013 11:26

Thanks all! I appreciate your directness Grin

OP posts:
ReluctantlyBeingYoniMassaged · 12/05/2013 11:26

The first one looks like a popadom.

LowLevelWhinging · 12/05/2013 11:32

surely something like this from topshop is what you're after?

Rather than a mother of the bride thing?

bulletwithbutterflywings · 12/05/2013 11:39

Are you Windy Miller? ;)

MrsLettuce · 12/05/2013 11:48

Can't get the top shop link to work on my phone but if it's a floppy job then no, floppy hats prickle my otherwise under control OCD.

I LOVE windy miller's hat!

OP posts:
MrsHelsBels74 · 12/05/2013 13:12

I'd say no but then no-one likes the sandals I posted so who am I to comment?

EeyoreIsh · 12/05/2013 13:15

I love the top hat! But I look stupid in normal size hats as have broad shoulders. Grin

TSSDNCOP · 12/05/2013 13:17

mrs your post made me laugh out loud, but don't be coming here hoping for a sympathy yay on those hideous hoof covers on your thread Grin

MrsHelsBels74 · 12/05/2013 13:19

No I honestly wasn't coming on here for sympathy, just saying not to take my advice as I clearly have no sense of style Grin
