Clarins double serum

Ok I've just been suckered persuaded into buying Clarins double serum (that sales assistant was good) - someone please tell me it is good stuff and worth the money (though is any serum worth £50??)! I have blotchy skin / redness / fine lines / open pores / you name it so I'm trying to find the elusive miracle cream that can make me look human in the morning.

I bought mine last week. I did have the normal serum before and just used it now and then. Even my dh commented today how smooth my skin looked this morning. What like is that I only need about half the amt of moisturizer that I would normally use. I'm only using it once a day, either morning or night, not both.
