Eye makeup for dark brown eyes

I don't really wear makeup, but I would like to experiment. How do I make my dark brown eyes stand so they look brighter.

I too am no make-up expert but I do wear a little white / sparkly eyeshadow just above the eyelash which helps brighten my brown eyes. Just a slim line and then mascara. Works for me!

Contrasting colours like green, blue and purple look great IMO with brown eyes. I think brown eyes can carry most colours!

I have brown eyes and normally wear green or purple.

Try a MAC eyeshadow called Jest. I also love MAC's kohl eye pencils as smudgy eyeliner and have them in a few colours, slight shimmer and v flattering!

Grey pencil and gunmetal shadow can look amazing if your skin tone is dark.

Also bright orange and golds can look amazing. Also a really bright turquoise.

If you have red brown eyes then go for a bronze.
