Which colour frame for sunglasses?

Am stuck deciding between black or dark tortoiseshell frames and need to order online to get the particular model I want so can't try on in shop.

I'm a HOC winter so black should work better on my face than the brown, but I wonder if the black might look a bit cheap which they bloody well aren't and the tortoiseshell a bit more classic.

Any opinions gratefully received.

I would usually say tortoiseshell, but in this case I think the black looks more expensive.

If you can be bothered to google (sorry DS2 still doing his limpet impression) do you reckon the Expensive in Black still apply?
