Colour palette for today - navy, cobalt and neon pink. Nothing like ringing the changes. Wearing my awesome Kate Spade earrings and carrying the Eurotrash bag, which is brilliant for work as it literally holds my life. Also lovely quality, don't think I'll be buying a bag above the MK, KS, Coach price point for a while - it just doesn't feel like value for money.

at all the DH's altered sartorial preferences! Mine was overly fond of GAP carpenter jeans and hiking boots for a long time, he is quite slim and I think he thought the jeans made him look bigger but they actually had the opposite effect. He is also now fonder of Diesel indigo slim legs and nice boots. He has great taste in shirts and jackets, Joseph, Boss, Armani, he needs to be smart casual most of the time but looks lovely in his Richard James suits. He hates shopping though, does it out of necessity with a proper smash and grab approach as he hits his threshold after about 50 minutes

I think we need to take a photo on Saturday and see if mnv'ers not there can identify those they haven't seen before (Amber, Hopefully) by their clothes

I shall try not to disappoint Amber I think I already promised Marsha I would be clutching the Balenciaga bag. I will be like one of those old ladies stacked up with blingmil. If its cold and raining I will be wearing a sack so be warned!!

So went to the pub and we ended up buying clothes online !!!....it's not just me who has a problem!

You ladies should kick me off here today. I haven't had time to wash my hair this morning and if my hair's a mess I don't feel good no matter what I wear. So I put on my trusty fat face sweater . It's normally reserved for I'll days/centre parcs but hey, looking at the weather forecast it's going to be cold and rain so no-one will see it anyway. I will try and shower and hair wash at lunchtime!

I've just dropped my dog off at the vets for a small operation. He HATES the vets and is very scared. Oh my God, his little face as I left, you could tell he felt betrayed. I haven't felt like this since DSs first day at nursery 13 years ago! I'm trying not to cry to stay busy until 2pm when I find out how the op went.

Are those of us not at the meet up going to get a full report after the event? I want to hear who, where and, most, importantly, what everyone was wearing!

DH is a pretty scruffy dresser when not at work . Though I did buy him some Y3 trainers that look great. He's not into shopping so that'll have to do. At work he has to wear suits and he looks amazing in a suit, white shirt and grey tie. Simple but v effective. It even made me part with my money to buy him this tie clip. I have no idea what shoes he wears to work as he wears trainers on his commute and keeps shoes at his office.

I need to go to a networking lunch in about 45 mins and (a) have no idea what to wear and (b) have no idea what to say when I stand up and speak for a minute or two. V hard to wax lyrical about colour/style analysis in 60 seconds, it's so much more complex!
