Shopping trip over and I am knackered because I walked so much!
I didn't buy that much but I realised that most of the things I bought online recently were at a discount so it is hard to pay full price again for something.
First I had my nails done which made me feel a lot more groomed especially since my hands are so dry from endless post nappy change handwashing.
I also went to the Céline shop to drool over their nano's but they had none in stock.
From Céline to H&M
to stock up ons some vests for layering and then I hit a few of the department stores to see if they had anything I liked/wanted.
I tried on this breton tee, as if I need another one, but the detailing on this one was different than all the bretons I own or have seen recently.

Unfortunately there were some make-up stains on the neckline so I didn't buy it.
They also had these nice Charles Philip shoes but I am not in the market for yellow shoes so I didn't try them on.

I did try on several white skinnies (Goldsign, Citizens of Humanity etc) but none of them were right and a lot of them didn't even fit. [Blush]
Maybe a sign I shouldn't wear them but I had some lovely white maternity jeans and I wore them a lot. Maybe I will have a look at Topshop or Boden for alternatives.
I bought some Superga's in a lilacy blue to replace my knackered navy ones and also a pair of red patent madrid Birkenstocks (maybe not fashionable but ideal for wearing around the garden chasing DS)
shop I also bought an American Vintage Tee. A Jacksonville in, I think, Grenadine.
I even contamplated buying some navy havaianas but as I already own two pairs I resisted.
There were some lovely clothes in the shops but they were either wrong for my bodyshape or too expensive (Isabel Marant trousers, leather Balenciaga biker jacket that was buttery soft, Alaïa dresses etc) but it was fun looking at them.
At the end of the morning I did feel a little 'unsatisfied' so I bought a perfume I had been lusting after but never bought because it was too expensive: Tom Ford Neroli Portofino.
But it looks like I might have to give up the bottle as DH has remarked several times already how much he likes the scent. Serves me right for spraying some on him when I got home!
Oh well, I still have a box of Ladurée macaroons to comfort me later on when the DC are in bed!
Wow, long post. Will shut up now and start dinner.
