I have one hour tomorrow to buy a present for my friend so any suggestions welcome. I had thought of a bracelet but she's just been given a silver links bracelet and a silver bangle so am back to the drawing board...

Maybe silver earrings? A silk scarf? What's her ssort of style?

MrsLettuce · 07/05/2013 21:54

Can you get to a big department store?

Nehru · 07/05/2013 21:55

Oh yes. Rats.

LittlePebble · 07/05/2013 21:56

She likes turquoise jewellery, her favourite colour is peacock green, she tends to wear white company/ h&m/ crew clothing.

She has silver bracelets and silver ring.

(Outed if she reads this!)

John Lewis have a good few (actual) silk scarves in budget. Slight;y over budget but a bargain worth calling to see if they have one in stock.

LittlePebble · 07/05/2013 22:07

MrsLettuce that's beautiful and would be perfect but I don't have a John Lewis near me (argh bloody living in the countryside!)

Sunday that's lovely (might have to pick one up myself) but she isn't a scarf wearer.

Oh fuck, sorry.

LittlePebble · 07/05/2013 22:12

Not your fault!

I live in the midst of nowhere with no exciting shops anywhere.... I have to drive 45mins just to get to Debenhams and M & S!

MrsLettuce · 07/05/2013 22:17

I used to live somewhere just like that. Not fun for shops and the buses. Gah.

Is there a hippy-type shop in town? They often do turquoise-in-silver for a reasonable price.

LittlePebble · 07/05/2013 22:28

Yes there may be, I'll have to venture out of the mall and see what I can find. I can see a panic purchase coming on.

No random wonderings! Google about a bit and call before, don;t want to risk wastign time.

simple but lovely. No knowing if they have it. Call 'em.

MrsLettuce · 07/05/2013 22:45

Oh, and as an emergency back up, do you knwo what her favourite perfume is? Not perfect but nevre wrong.

LittlePebble · 07/05/2013 22:53

That necklace is nice, wasn't expecting that in debenhams. Will have a look tomorrow.

No not sure which is her perfume. I could find out from her DP though if I run out of time. Thanks Lettuce :-)
