What's that easy way to measeure? Something like each inch difference is a cup or summut?

Only I'm giving in and going to have a look. And no. I am not and never will get fitted by someone else. Ever.

Thanks

Best to look at one of the main bra threads on this topic for guidance.

When you say over your boobs, what do you mean mirai? Where exactly.

IfYoureHappy
There are 3 long bra intervention threads. I want to buy new bras but I can't face trawling through them all for the vital few pieces of info so, like the op, I am very grateful if someone can summarise.

Branleuse · 06/05/2013 11:16

give us your measurements

ribcage/underbust =
overbust /fullest part (if less than pert, then measure in a non padded bra

Humph.

I got stuck in a sports bra. I thought for a few very painful minutes I'd have to shoplift the bastard and then cut it off at home.

Hopefully the link works, all the fitting advice on all the long threads has been put on the blog above.

Sports bras are a bit special - most of them fit very small in the back. I almost always need to go up a back size in them.

givemeaboost · 01/09/2013 19:37

Can someone help please! used the link above and have come out with a 34 under and 49 round, supposedly meaning if ive understood it right that im a 34 K ShockBlush how is that right!? I don't think it is, in a 34 g atm, although badly fitting....help!

StatisticallyChallenged · 01/09/2013 20:37

34 and 19 would indeed be a start point of a 34K, but the cup measurement isn't exact and becomes less perfect for larger cups so you will need to try sizes around.

Have you tried scooping vigorously in your 34G? Bra on, stand side on to a mirror, lean forward. Left hand inside right bra cup, reach round under armpit and pull everything soft forward in to the cup.. Repeat on other side, then repeat again. All the soft tissue hanging around your armpits is boob.

I suspect once you do that you will have pretty serious quad boob

givemeaboost · 01/09/2013 21:17

thankyou for replying Smile so does that mean I need to experiment with 34 j/jj/k....?

StatisticallyChallenged · 01/09/2013 21:18

Yes that's where I would start. It is generally easier to spot too big in the cup than too small so don't be scared to try the big cups
