HOC Autumn Lipstick recommendation

Calling all fellow HOC Autumns what lipsticks do you recommend?

I bought one when I had my colours done but really don't like the lipstick, so consequently haven't been wearing any. However I am aware it can make a big difference so would like to get a few.

I am after recommendations of shades you can get on the high street as opposed the HOc brand ones ( quite like Bobbi Brown make up)

After my analysis I bought a V cheap (because i was still nervous) 17 one called I think 'fire alarm' - a good orangey red. It's a crap lipstick (lack of pigment) but I think it's a perfect autumn colour - looks good with the palette and my skin and I'm getting lots of compliments when I wear it. I've been trying more expensive ones but they're just not as perfect!

MAC Fresh Moroccan is one. Bear with me and I'll post to my colour group (we are HOC obsessed and several Autumns) and come back to you

I wear this Bobbi Brown Uber Nude every day, and keep Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee in my car, just in case!

MAC - chili lipstick

BWC - coppernob,terracotta

Max factor- chilli

NYX - celebrate

Chocochops I'm in the same position as you so watching with interest. I've been scouring old threads and came across Burts Bees lip shimmer tinted lip balm in caramel. I thought as a non-lipstick wearer of years (the last time I wore lipstick was on my wedding day nearly 13 years ago) it may be a good stepping stone into wearing it. It always feels a bit odd and I just want to lick my lips all the time! I've ordered some so I'm excitedly waiting for the postman now. The HoC one I bought was too much for me to wear confidently but I also realised it helped to add towards a more polished look so I really want to find one that works for me.

Not sure Jam, Autumn leaves are all sorts of colours. I was Autumn with no further detail with CMB so the sub categories are beyond me.

I'm an autumn and I rotate:

Bobbi brown: blue raspberry, nude, rose, nude rose
Rimmel: Kate moss number 19 (usually wear this every day!)
Hourglass: vintage (lipstick heaven, but pricey!)
Nars: la dolce vita
Laura mercier: soft lips, baby lips, sexy lips

I have just bought Maybelline lip tint in forever coral. It is bright but fades during the day. Im looking for a Maybelline 24h lip colour shade that I can use. They seem to be predominantly pinks or pale orange, any ideas?

TracyK I came out as a Warm Deep Autumn in my colour analysis (not done by HoC) - would you happen to know if I'd be better with your warm or dark list? (both of which are fab and very comprehensive!)

I just bought the Laura Mercier lipsticks in Caramel and Cinnamon which seem to be good colours on me so even though this is from a while back - thanks TracyK

Soz - just seen this. I guess you could get any of the colours from either list. Depends on what you are wearing on the day and what effect you want from it.
If you got the dark list and they were too dark - ou could sheer out with a pale gloss?

Having trouble finding Rimmel lipstick 065. Does anyone know where I can buy from. Emailed Rimmel but no reply yet. Might have been discontinued as when I do find - it's out of stock. Or has anyone used this lipstick and has found a very similar colour I could try? Any help would be much appreciated - thanks.
