Blimey! Are GHD Eclipse really worth £200?

I'm in the market to replace my ancient GHDs. Hs anyone got the new eclipse straighteners? I've to really thick hair and ha e to admit I don't get as good results from GHDs as what my friends do. Though this is partly my shit technique I'm sure as the hairdresser seems to manage it.

My hairdresser used these on my hair today. My normally thick, coarse hair looks stunning. He literally just ran them once over the sections.

I got caught in drizzle walking my dog tonight, it still looks sleek. Normally I would have a halo of frizz.

Magic wand straighteners. I'm gutted they are twice the price of normal GHD's. I'll be buying some before the month is out Grin

Right, I'm saving up for some. My current GHDs are 8 years old and still work, so long-term they're good value for money I guess even at £200.
