Spray tans - is it odd to keep your undercrackers on?

I'm considering a spray tan as the glare from my legs is beyond a joke. I don't want to be oompa-loompa-ed, just enough to look slightly bronzed

My friend/next-door-but-one-neighbour has a beauty salon and I really have to go there, I'd feel awkward if I went elsewhere, she sees me every day and she'd notice

I also feel incredibly awkward about getting my tits/arse out in front of someone I know, but at the same time, I don't want her to think I'm a nutter if I go in knickers and a strapless bra

I clearly need to get a grip, but I've never had one so I don't know the etiquette.

You normally keep your knickers on (wear old ones!!) and they give you like a little paper thong to put on. It is usual to take your bra off as they spray tan your boobs - if you keep your bra on you'll have brown shoulders and white boobs! But I guess if you feel that strongly they'll spray over your bra - again, wear an old one as the tanning stuff will wreck it.

Maybe get a really, really cheap bikini to wear?

have only ever had a spray tan once, but the salon just showed me into a room, told me that it was my choice how much I wanted to take off, and said that some women like to strip to their knickers, whilst some like to keep their bra on, and the choice was mine. I kept mine on, and wasn't made to feel like it was a strange thing to do. You'll be fine.

I have sprayed 100s of ladies most wear their own pants and go topless but I do have ladies that go nude some also in bra and pants

I've got a neon yellow strapless bra that is the unwanted part of a 2 pack so I was going to stick that on as I'm not bothered if it gets wrecked

I'm the only one going to see the white boobs (well, apart from DH if he's good ) so I won't have noticeable strap marks if you see what I mean.

I have sprays tans for holidays and high days as am paper white. I've always just left knickers on as instructed - lets face it, beauticians see breasts every hour of the (work) day. It's easier for different types of clothes/costumes on holiday. I'm no skinny minny either. It's over in 5-10 minutes.
Although mrslettuce idea is quite good if you don't fancy it. A halter neck cheap bikini will make people think you have actually been away. Some people even rub a string around back of neck after fake tanning.

rationally, I know that and I'm laughing at myself for being a dick, but she's my neighbour, I see her every day. I'll never be able to forget that I've flashed her next time we meet putting the wheelie bins out

It's for the same reason that I drive to the next town for a bikini wax

A school mum (nurse) fitted my coil . I did not know this until I had hopped on the bed. THAT'S embarrassing!!

I would go somewhere else and when you see her make a joke of it along the lines of it being more than she might want to see of you etc then out of guilt go there for a manicure. you have then set the precedent for any future spray tans and going elsewhere.

If she did mention your newly acquired tan you could just make out you DIY at home.

I rarely get a spray tan unless ghostly white before going on holiday etc but I always strip completely because otherwise it is highly likely the white bits will show when I am wearing bikini bottoms on the beach which kind of defeats the object.
