Wedding Outfit - Not sure

I'm going to a wedding soon and want to treat myself to something new to wear as its with a new partner and i'll be meeting most of the people at the wedding for the first time.

I love this dress - the red version

The dress looks too smart/shiny for the kind of stuff that the shoes are made of (rope/hessian/stuff).

I agree - The dress needs smarter, more formal shoes.

Oh, heck are you only 30 this year? I do like the red dress but it might look a wee bit frumpy on one so young. WHat's your size, shape, height and colouring?

I imagine you as slim and quite petite no idea why. But, just in case, hows about this with some black strappy sandles or these and this? Accessorize do some nice hair corsages. Wouldn't need anything else.
