is this suitable for a wedding?

a colleague of my DP's has been and got married in Australia and is holding a party in a few week for all the people who didn't go to the wedding (you know the type I mean).
I bought a dress a while back and haven't had chance to wear it, do you reckon it's suitable? The bottom is a dark cream with grey up it, it's just the fact it's a cream that's putting me off.

I think it's gorgeous! Def wedding suitable. The cream doesn't come across as 'bridal' at all, with the dark top half and grey patterning.
