Need a good makeup primer

I can't seem to find one that doesn't feel greasy on my skin. I tried Lancome's oil free one & it felt greasy. All the testers I try on my hand feel greasy. I have combination skin & live in Australia so when it's really hot my makeup can slide. I always set with loose powder. My Mil sends me corn silk as I can't get it here.

You need Lanacane's anti chaff gel - seriously. Google the reviews on Make up Alley. It's FANTASTIC and only £6.

I can get that here thanks.

Smashbox. It's fantastic.

Clinique City Block in either 25 or 40 SPF is great.

Primarily a sunscreen but doubles up as a primer. I have combination skin and this works really well for me. It's not greasy at all and it's the only primer I've found that actually holds my makeup in place, even in very hot weather.

THE LANACANE HAS THE SAME INGREIDIENTS AS THE SMASH BOX ONE BY ALL ACCOUNTS -oops sorry, big shouty caps lock! Grin

I use Smashbox. You only need a smidgen and it sinks in straight away and is great.

Another vote for Smashbox. I use CornSilk too OP - fab isn't it?

Sorry to hijack but does anyone know if there is a primer that works for eyes too? I want to avoid having to fork out for two separate products. TIA

TallulahBetty · 29/04/2013 19:18

Make Up Academy (MUA) at Superdrug. Cheap but excellent face primer and eye primer.

SayMama · 29/04/2013 20:39

Fantastic tip valium thanks!

valiumredhead · 29/04/2013 22:40

Yep Lanacane is ok for eyes too, I use it.

Cheesymonster · 30/04/2013 11:58

Thanks Tallulah and valium
