Obviously he is um, perfectly capable of choosing his own, but in the interests of averting a disaster of Jeremy Clarkson sized proportions, I am seeking some guidance. I can then gently steer him in the right direction. I am fairly fashion savvy when choosing my own stuff, but despite sizing up every male I know, I can't seem to think of what type of jacket would be right. DH also freely admits to being clueless. So, this is him:
46, 6'3, large build (not really fat, but stocky/broad shouldered and a bit of a tum), stubbly. works in creative industry, doesn't do really smart clothes but doesn't want to look scruffy. Mostly dresses in jeans, t shirts/casual shirts, shoes are either converse/puma or brown leather jodhpur style boots for smart.
I have seen some nice Superdry jackets but will teenagers openly mock him in the streets for trying too hard? Also maybe that sort of thing is for skinnier types. Help!
