Jersey material or knitted blazer. They're £££ for what they are, and look rubbish / bobbly after 3 wears. (yes, Hush, I'm pretty much looking at you)

Please share yours too Smile.

Wool dress - well not for a while ditto knee high boots.

Silk scarf that is too small and looks air hostessy

steben · 23/04/2013 16:58

Gate crashing to ask why is leg oil so amazing?!?

OhTinky · 23/04/2013 16:59

GHDs - my second pair have broken after 14 months, the first pair lasted about 2yrs.

That's over £200 I've spent on their shit products!

What happened to things being built to last?!

UnscentedStillRomantic · 23/04/2013 17:06

Tube of BB cream. (I looked like an enbalmed Oompa Loompa)

Anything cowl necked. Not that I ever did anyway, but I wouldn't. I hate flappy fabric at my neck.

LadyMountbatten · 23/04/2013 17:11

I will start a dry leg thread

ginslinger · 23/04/2013 17:26

I'm sticking up for BB cream but don't bother with expensive stuff because the Garnier works brilliantly but the Bobbi Brown expensive stuff is shit.

foxysocks · 23/04/2013 17:35

anything from ebay. i've only had one thing that fits/i love, the rest of the time it's rubbish. if there's no way to send it back i don't buy it.

middleagedspread · 23/04/2013 17:36

Gel nails. Truely ruined my nails underneath & they've never really recovered.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/04/2013 17:43

I will never buy anything else from Origins, ever (crap customer service).
I will also never buy boots from Episode again (needed £20 worth of re-heeling after about 2 months' wear).
Also: Clarins mascara (crap), Boots No 7 anything (I hate it and it is as expensive as lots of better brands), Clinique Dramatically Different moisturiser (because it is dramatically useless).

foxysocks · 23/04/2013 17:48

oh and another - anything from anna. i had a pair of faulty trainers from them which took an absolute AGE to sort out, they charge a freaking fortune in delivery and returns, the CS is beyond snooty and the jeans i bought (when i was giving them a final last chance shot) were not as described. never again.

IDismyname · 23/04/2013 17:55

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour Cream - apart from the lip salve thingy. Smells great - does nothing.

LadyM - start up a 'Dry Leg Thread' - do!

BinksToEnlightenment · 23/04/2013 18:00

Any weird Givenchy mascaras. I don't have twenty minutes each morning to carefully paint each individual lash. The second I feel the slightest bit confident and it's all over my eyelids. And it smudges like a chimney sweep in the bath.

LadyMountbatten · 23/04/2013 18:43

More glittery knitwear

thenightsky · 23/04/2013 18:48

Anything from bloody Long Tall Sally or Pepperberry. They catch me out every season with their misleading photography.

freddiefrog · 23/04/2013 19:27

A foundation brush - was told I absolutely had to have one, most unused and pointless item in make up bag

straighteners other than GHD - I wasted ££ over the years on cheapy straighteners, I wish I'd just

MUA nail fur - actually bought for DD1, but dear god!

freddiefrog · 23/04/2013 19:28

Oh, randomly missed half a sentence

It should say I wish I'd just bought GHDs in the first place

forcookssake · 23/04/2013 19:58

The Veet 'salon' wax device. I get better results with the ready to use wax strips whilst that wretched piece of kit ripped out hairs as I applied it but not so much when I used the special strips to remove it. Maybe it's just my mega hairs which were no match for it.
To be fair they did refund my £ when I told them this tale of woe.
