Cover ups for wedding? (And shoes!)

I've just bought this (link below) to wear to a wedding in June. Normally I'd wear a cardigan with a dress but do they really work for weddings? Also, can anyone suggest some shoes that would work? I'm a bit out of my comfort zone here, but I'll try anything!!
