This links to my ronnie Scott thread. I am going there in early may. Weather forecast very cool. If i wear a skirt or dress my legs will freeze. Would i look more odd in dress and tights or holding outwith bare legs or shall i just wear trousers? I never go out so i need some help from u metropolitan types.

I'd go in tights if I was wearing a dress if it were me. I wouldn't freeze for the sake of a night out. Wear trousers if that's what makes you comfortable though.

Someone was saying on another thread last week that the M&S 7 denier tights are good.

Nothing is less stylish than blue goosebumpy legs.
I live in a warm Mediterranean city. Everyone here wears tights until it's 20C+ and often even beyond. Sheer black tights are very fashionable here at the moment - lots of young, stylish and edgy women wear them. Patterned tights are big here too.

I would love to wear a dress and noticed recently in Seville all women in tights. So i have a jigsaw dress. Thin jersey ish fabric in black and grey. Wore in winter with boots and opaques. With sheer black tights and heels would that pass muster on 1 may?
