Beach footwear

I haven't been on a sun holiday in years and am going to ibiza this summer. Is it still okay to wear Havaianas as my beach footwear staple? If not, what's the alternative?

I've bought a new pair of the thin strapped Havianas and am itching to get them on.

They are the metallic bronze ones. I saw a great pic of Jennifer Anniston in a similar pair with white crops and they looked really nice.

Espadrilles are also gong to be pretty big this year. I've been able to wear mine once. I've bought these from Zara in nude :

They are very comfortable, and great with jeans, but remember not to get them wet if you do buy espadrilles as the rope swells up!
