i mostly seem to wear dark skinnys and stripy tops . nearly all my clothes seems to be navy and white , neutrals really

what is the consensus on gold bags ? gold sandals ?
i thought i might accessorize with them for summer but seem to remember my nanna had a liking for gold . is it a good or a bad idea ?
help me stylish people !

Inspired by this thread, I bough the Banana Republic bag linked above and it's lovely, perfect colour and really soft leather, great quality.

But the strap is just too short for me (I'm tall though) and isn't adjustable so it sits too high when used cross-body. Such a shame as I love it - am keeping my eyes peeled for an alternative.
