Please?

I'm 30, 5ft 9 and size 12ish.
It can be quite casual, though I particularly love the belt mac style, fairly stylish ie I would lose a hood for a nice look. It is for pushing buggy around etc, mainly worn with jeans. Not too warm as I get warm enough pushing a double! I quite like ones that cover the bum or are a bit longer as I hate wet/ bum thighs. Can stuff hair in a hat if need be though, it's not for serious walking.

Just got a rain mac from Next. £28 thin but rainproof with a hood, patterned. Haven't a clue how to do a link so 785-779 is item number.

Nothing useful to add sorry but watching with interest.

Merrell Wakefield is a bit of a mn cliche but I wouldn't be without mine. I think mine was £70 in a sale last year, but its totally waterproof and has been worn to death.

Have to say the merrel Wakefield us the best thing I have found ever! I bought one neatly 3 years ago, perfect for half hour walk to school whilst pushing buggy. Smart enough for work. Wore most of last year due to terrible weather. I need something just kind it but s bit thinner though as wear with a jumper in winter but a bit warm for now until about September if warmer this year!

Forgot to say perfect fur your height and the sleeves are lively and long do no gaps between gloved and wrists for us talk girls!!

No bag came with the item, but it will fold up very small. I brought it to use in the evening on a cycling holiday, where it will most probably rain every day...Hmm

Does the Wakefield come in only black? That is all I can see when I google.

The endless search for a warm/dry/stylish rain jacket continues.....

I love this from J Crew but can't afford over 200 quid for it. Will keep an eye out if it ever goes on sale.

If you like the funky Nordic look, Danefae have some great coats. I spend my 2nd mat leave pushing the buggy in neverending rain and these coats were a lifesaver.
