Different sized boobs

Hi, (I live in Australia, but many shops post out here) I am breastfeeding at the moment and I think I will carry on while it's going so well for us. My dd2 is 5 months old. I have recently bought a few items of clothing after loosing some weight. I actually feel good for the first time in a long long time. I never lost any weight after dd1 who is 2 now, so it's been a long time coming but I am getting some style back in my life and it's making me feel good. Anyway I am in deperate need of a couple of bra's that fit me. I have one boob very much bigger than the other. Do I buy a big cup and then fill up my small side with a chicken fillet? I am measuring 32 inches under my bust and 36 across my bust. But my big boob looks very much bigger than a b cup. Any help or advice is greatfully received. Can I wear underwired bra's now? Are there nice non underwired bra's?

Based on those measurements alone start at a 32D and work from there

In terms of uneven boobs, there are a few tricks you can use which mean you might not need to pad your bra. Firstly, adjusting the strap length gives you some variance in the cups - so wear the strap longer on your larger side and shorter on your smaller side.

Secondly - this works best with a non-moulded bra - put your bra on as normal. Then, grab your smaller breast and pull it up towards your chin with one hand, and use the other hand to pull the spare fabric in the cup down so that it folds at the bottom of the cup rather than at the top. Combined with the strap trickery this is often enough to hide quite big discrepancies. Finally, if you need to you can pad the smaller one.

And as long as they fit properly you can wear underwires whilst feeding - but you must makes sure that the cup is big enough for your larger breast. The risk is if the cup is too small so that the wire is resting on breast tissue.

I just think once I have encased my boobs in some sort of decent bra than my whole upper body will look good again. Then I can splash out on a couple of new tops and feel good again.

I have been bouncing my baby to sleep for a few months and without realising my legs are all toned up, it was a wonderful side effect! So I have some nice new trousers that I recently picked up and some tops are next on the shopping list (once I get the bra's sorted out!!)

I spent an hour in our local department store yesterday, I came away with a bra, but I hate it! Argh!! The assistant was awful and kept saying "that's a great fit" when IT WASN'T - I'm so annoyed. I have messaged the department store on Facebook to tell them my tale. The assistant was trying to get me to go up a band size because she didn't stock my size. I've got a 32 e on (i think). It's a horrid granny bra and my boobs look pointy. Sob sob. I bloody hope they get back to me on Facebook. I need a different style! Argh. Bras!! They make me all emotional, I just want to look and feel good and attractive.

what bra did she sell you? and can you describe what is wrong so we can try to suggest options?
