Loreal Ombre Kit?? Any Good??

I'm looking to change my mid-dark brown hair to an Ombre type look to get over the fact that it's in the mid length no mans land of haircuts.
(yes I know I'm about 9 months late for the ombre look)
It'd be better than the state its in at the moment.
And my budget is about a tenner.
SO has anyone used it and did it wreck your hair?
What were your results like?
Is it a waste of my tenner?? hehe!!

I have never dyed my hair before but took a risk with trying this kit.

It's amazingly simple to do and with such effective results.

I've had really positive comments since doing it, and although I'm following a trend, I'm glad I did as I think it looks funky and you still don't see a lot of people with it.

I just lived how quick and easy it was and not messy either.

I have done it twice now (first time I didn't leave it on very long as I didn't want it too blond and I didn't know how it would react, but it was a subtle change, this time I went more blond)
