Partic anyone with slim thighs and short blinking waist

Does the extra material look nappy like or cool?

DO the wider legs make you look fatter than you are?

I have them in blue. Not that impressed. Got in a 12 and given that I gave birth 10 weeks ago, they are pretty baggy. (I have lost all my preg weight already though - gotta love BF twins!) I am generous of thigh and they are pretty baggy in that region, so anyone with normal legs might find them ridiculous. I do wear them but then I don't leave the house much and anything that is a step up from yoga pants is a bonus at the mo. The colors are nice - green was fun in the shop.

They might look completely different on so done taller and slimmer however (am 5 3)

I reckon they'd look good on slim thighs but fucking awful on my thunders

noddyholder · 17/04/2013 19:40

I have seen those too baggy for me. I have a pair from h and m for £7 which are a great fit

LadyMountbatten · 17/04/2013 19:42

i find any baggy trews make me look stoopid
and these sound the same
thanks all.

They are lovely You do get used to baggier I blame the last 10+ years of skinnies. I bought some loose jeans and they are really flattering

I wear a lot of harems though in summer so used to a certain shape As long as they sit low on hip they look good I find.

LadyMountbatten · 17/04/2013 20:02

they arent on me. If i take the spare material and fold it back, making trousers slim, it takes a stone off me

Baggy definitely works best on a slim thigh. I strongly suspect I look like Handy Andy in boyfriend jeans.

libertychick · 17/04/2013 21:03

I tried them on the other day and almost ran screaming from the changing room - looked awful - I have big thighs Smile

LadyMountbatten · 17/04/2013 21:36

I have thin thighs. But hips.

Ship in full sail ladies. ;)

I don't get on with gap trousers/jeans at all. Did anyone try their 'sexy boyfriend' jeans last year - honestly I have never looked as awful as I did in them.

I need a slim fit or look even shorter and chunkier.

itsnothingoriginal · 17/04/2013 21:44

I'm usually a size 8-10 but the 8 was huge and they looked awful on me - agree with the 'ship in sale' description and very odd sizing!! Was gutted as they had some beige ones in the sale for a tenner!

LadyMountbatten · 17/04/2013 21:50

I love their real straight cotton lycra ones for work. But I (12) have to buy an English size 8 in them

I tried the sexy boyfriends last year and looked dreadful. I tried them again this year and they were much better so I bought. Not sure whether they've tweaked them or I've lost the residual baby flab. Bit of both I suspect.

Overall though I agree that we shorties need to stick to slim fit. I shudder when I think of the wide-leg years.
