Help - 23 weeks Pregnant, need to look über smart

And not melt!
I've got a series of meetings in a hot climate coming up 25 degrees ish. I will be 23 weeks, but bump is huge! Probably not helped by plenty of salt and shake crisps.

I need to look really smart, but everything I have is from last pregnancy (winter) so I know it will be too hot to wear.
Pre pregnancy I was a comfortable size 10.

I have never been a suit type person and tend to stick to dresses.

I am completely stuck - any suggestions very welcome.

Would tailored linen trousers and a white shirt be smart enough? Try seraphine or Isabella Oliver for either.

Topshop do some bodycon dresses in their mat range and even though they're jersey could look quite smart with a blazer...

What sort of budget?

pencil skirt & blouse?

MrsLettuce · 17/04/2013 19:15

this with another belt could work. Would need heels though whereas something like the skirt and blouse above would look 'in control' enough with just flats.

Doubtitsomehow · 17/04/2013 20:15

Isabella Oliver does exactly this sort of range. Pricey, but a couple of items saw me through right to 40 weeks. Google and you'll find her.

Thank you for the considered responses!
Ivana - in my head linen trousers look lovely but in RL i can barely brush my hair and put bb cream on. I haven't been in topshop for 10+ years but I will take a look at their body con dresses.
MrsL - I love the idea of a pencil skirt and blouse. I can't make the links work on my phone, will check on pc later. Thank you for looking!!
Doubtit- thanks for the tip. DH wants 4 DCs so the investment would be defo worth it!

If you feel like investing then tiffany rose is also worth a look.

Crave maternity also does a nice line for those not wanting to look like a sack of spuds.

Just popped back to say thank you for the advice. A super isabella Oliver ruched pencil dress arrived today and is just the thing!
