i last got mine on the way to a funeral in about 2002.

do I need a new one? What has changed?
i am toying with light wash. I KNOW
but that shade suits me and the summer clothes I would wear with it. CANNOT do cropped nor really biker

This - is it cropped or not? Is unclear

( btw old one was Next - hence this as starting point, was a long journey to funeral)

No, I think that one is quite long, would definitely be hip length on me though I'm only 5'4. I quite like the wash on that one.

foxysocks · 14/04/2013 10:22

i like the wash on that too but it's def not cropped

I need one too. my last one was a baggy levis number from the early 90s, not a good look. I want something cropped/fitted as well. will watch with interest...

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 14/04/2013 10:57

I like the wash on that but it looks really long to me. I think more fitted/shorter ones are generally much more flattering - you have to be careful not to veer into this sort of bagginess with the less fitted ones.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 14/04/2013 11:00

Quite like the look of this one

you see, this is the thing, trying to work out HOW old faves have aged, and what the difference is

FUNny, Remus, that mango one is just like my denim jacket of misery

DP have a nice one, for £32...I was eyeing it yesterday, it's a nice wash.

LadyMountbatten · 14/04/2013 13:53

It is, sold out in all but an 8 though.

I have the current season one from Fat Face and it's nice. Simple, not long although not cropped and a nice denim shade.

OneLittleLady · 14/04/2013 14:08

I have a slightly cropped one from Joe Browns. It's a light wash and goes brilliantly with all my summer clothes. Had to be cropped as all the standard length ones were massive on me ( I'm a teeny 5 foot FYI) so cropped was the way forward

LadyMountbatten · 14/04/2013 14:14

i DONT want cropped really

Am trying and failing to imagine a pony in a denim jacket...possibly with gold leggings too? :)

LadyMountbatten · 14/04/2013 14:16

i might whinny

I have this one which is lovely.

Warehouse do nice ones but they don't fit me at all but worth a try.

MrsCampbellBlack · 14/04/2013 15:01

Oh the warehouse ones are tiny - I couldn't do a 10 up round my boobs and am generally an 8.

noddyholder · 14/04/2013 15:05

I think you need to go very light or dark Mid blue is a bit OAP they all wear them at our local church 'lunch club'

noddyholder · 14/04/2013 15:07

nice have seen

JamEyelid · 14/04/2013 15:53

I've been thinking of getting this Fat Face one.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 14/04/2013 15:57

All Saints but expensive and probably too dark for you

LadyMountbatten · 14/04/2013 16:27

Like the all saints one a lot.

I've got a Dorothy Perkins one from last year. It is a really nice fit, if you can get to a store they might have some more sizes in.

DS1 has a really light one, it's always in the wash!

noddyholder · 14/04/2013 16:52

There is a lovely on in zara but i could n't do it up easily even teh L

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 14/04/2013 16:53

Do people really fasten denim jackets though? I don't - I like them v fitted and a bit cropped, and leave them open - the same as I do a biker.
