Blondes. when did you go grey?

I'm in my mid thirties and so far don't see any grey. Being blonde I guess it will be less noticeable. I guessed i'd gradually get lighter but actually i'm noticing my hair is looking darker/duller. Is it the start of going grey?
Not worried, just curious. All my friends and siblings are dark haired so just wondered how blondes change to grey.
Sorry if my late night ponderings seem a bit silly :)

I realize this is an old thread.
I am a light blond but still get highlights.
This year, age 45, is the first that I have seen gray.
My redhead mum went gray at 21, so I guess I am lucky.
I am still highlighting since the gray is negligible, but not sure what to do when it becomes more prominent.

My scaredresser found a few scattered around my crown at my last appointment, I'm 40 (just) and dirty blonde.

Found first grey hairs earlier this year.
I'm 51

I'm the wrong side of 42 1/2 and have no greys yet that I can see.

45, still no grey. I think my mother started going grey in her fifties.

32 - 33 after having DD. I have always had blonde highlights to my naturally dark blonde hair, and began to notice that my roots were getting more noticeable more quickly. Unfortunately my grey isn't light / Helen Mirren-esque but dark iron grey Sad. So I have changed hairdresser, and begun to get permanent colour on my roots (dark blonde) and very occasional highlights to my ends, kind of a bayalage (?) look. I really like it, and much cheaper than highlights Smile

First that happened was that my mid blonde hair got darker. Then the grey crept in in mid 40's and the rest got even darker. I hate it, natural colour is now badger like - very dark brown and white - ghastly as I still feel blonde inside.

I started off with just highlights but I needed more and more to cover the grey so now have to have all over colour and highlights. Just had it done and I feel so much better and I would rather starve than go natural and badger like.

I'm a light blonde and at 48 I have a few grey hairs which seem to blend in nicely ,I have never dyed or highlighted my hair and have no intention of starting now .
