Next Relaxed Skinny Jeans

I tried some of these on last week, and they were a revelation! I've got short quite chunky legs and it's a nightmare to find jeans / trousers that look ok. I didn't buy them then as I had Next vouchers at home to use.

So, today I go to Next again (different branch) and pick up two pairs in the same size that I tried on the other day (two shades of blue), and tried them on. They were totally different, wtf? They both looked really really baggy around the leg, and were too big for me. They had one of the colours in a smaller size, so I tried those on and they were ok, so I bought them.

But I'm quite sad that they other day I thought I had found my perfect jeans, and now realise that 'Ive been duped!

PS I normally wear Topshop jeans but annoyingly they've changed their styles so they don't really work for me anymore Sad

I have a pair of these and absolutely love them. They wear well and don't go baggy. I would go back and try again- are you sure you definitely picked up the right ones?

I did, they've got "relaxed skinny" stitched into the back. Sad

I ordered some from their website - both "relaxed skinny", but with different product codes. The black/blue ones were a little too tight snug but the vintage blue fit really well. And I went down a size too, which is always a bonus. Can't really believe the sizing to be honest but the fit is good.

I've got the lighter ones as they didn't have the darker ones in the smaller size. When I looked at the reviews on the website the other day they were all glowing, and quite a lot said go down a size. But, the ones I tried on originally were my usual size (I'm a bit of a porker at the moment though Grin).

Might see if I can get some of the darker ones next week, as that was the colour I really wanted.

Just checked their website.

My experience as follows:

The lighter blue demin jeans - 135-918. Really good fit, more generous through the thigh. :-)
Tint skinny - 790-611. Somewhere between the two. Good fit. :-)
Darker blue/black - 765-898. Much tighter through the leg. Too snug. :-( Sending these back.

I purchased a white pair the other day. Am an 8 in Topshop and had to go down to a 6 in these. Nice fit though.
