New bag - red or purple?

that's it really, hope to keep it for a long while so want to make the right decision. Mid plum purple, not lilac!

I vote purple, as I think it would be something you'd reach for to go with any outfit. I think...

I hope to keep this bag for a number of years as its v.expensive so I think maybe purple too. but I do like red a lot. purple might be less 'in your face?'

Red. I love red leather. I was clearly a whore in a former life. Plum can be "mumsy", red says "I could still get on that table and dance but you might have to help me down ".

I plan to buy a red bag soon (assuming it ever goes on sale). It also comes in purple, but I think red is better. Makes you go faster.

I have a bright red bag at the moment and I love it. Am stuck in dull dark winter colours and it lifts outfits.

I think purple is nice in the winter with dark clothes, but red works better in both summer and winter.
