What is sizing like? Does it come up big? Thanks

I think it does. Especially on jeans and trousers. What have you got your eye on?

noddyholder · 04/04/2013 15:38

A friend just said she was having a clear out and has a dress I might like but I haven't seen it and she is smaller than me but says it will fit I am not keen on next so look forward to seeing it Grin

The sizing comes up tiny. I'm really a size 8 but I have to wear a 16 in next.

(Lies. It's all lies. They oversize by one size I think).

miche8 · 04/04/2013 15:42

Comes up a bigger, size 14 in next but often a 16 in other shops.

Fairylea · 04/04/2013 15:42

Sizing comes up huge I think I meant.

I've confused myself trying to be funny!

noddyholder · 04/04/2013 15:46

Grin I will have to take it otherwise will be insulting her I suppose

Yes they are huge in next. I'm a 8 but a 6 in next if I can find anything that fits. I hate it along with m&s and gap.

Talisin · 04/04/2013 15:47

Depends how old the dress is. Currently their sizing is on the generous side but I have a couple of things from maybe 3 or 4 years back and they're at least a size - possibly even two - smaller than the equivalent now.

noddyholder · 04/04/2013 15:50

Its denim and a fitted tunic kaftan shape no idea how old as never go there but probably not that old maybe a year

I find bottoms true to size and tops and dresses large (or maybe I have a big bum).

ohforfoxsake · 04/04/2013 20:10

Next use vanity sizing so a 12 is a 14 in most other shops.

It really annoys me.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 05/04/2013 07:47

It depends on your body shape I find. Dresses huge but I never wear straight dresses, tops it depends on the style. Trousers are made for pears shapes so vanity sizing if you're that shape but I'm an apple so have to size up for my waist then the hips are comedy sized on me.
