Please tell me one exists?! Can't remember what I've used before but do remember it's always bloody ruined my foundation...

Get foundation with SPF- Lancome are great :)

JumpHerWho · 28/03/2013 23:30

La Roche Posay

ujjayi · 28/03/2013 23:59

Chanel UV Essentiel is great. And has spf50

Clinique city block is a great base for make-up, acts like a primer. But you have to skip moisturiser cos that's what messes it up. Might that be what's causing you the problem?

SchroSawMargeryDaw · 29/03/2013 00:15

I used p20 last summer but I have really dry skin so it done me fine, used covergirl with olay on top and hard candy powder and it sat nicely.

Fanjounchained · 29/03/2013 07:16

Second clinique city block though I have heard very good things about La Roche Posay....and it's a wee bit cheaper. If you're lucky you also catch it onl special offer quite often in Boots.

Pandsbear · 29/03/2013 11:51

La Roche Posay on offer here if you are quick...ta-daaa

Oooh, wonderful, thank you ladies! Leaving on Sunday so no time for online shopping alas. Boots it is...

But to get Chanel, Clinique or La Roche? Which is the most matifying do we think? Clinique? But lower factor...

I have the Laura Mercier daily face shield SPF 40. I have sensitive skin and I found that Clinique City Block gave me blocked pores.

Eliza22 · 29/03/2013 18:24

Clarins do an spf40 one. It's matte and quite primer-like, with regard to pores. Smile

crossparsley · 29/03/2013 18:26

I use ultra sun face pretty much all year round. You need to give it 15-25 minutes to sink in but it's never caused any problems for me.

(Although I can't guarantee the whole world isn't thinking I look like shite - I'm pretty self-lacerating though so I think it's probably ok)

Fairylea · 29/03/2013 18:28

Another vote for clinique city block.

PoppyWearer · 29/03/2013 18:29

Definitely Clinique City Block! I wore it under make up for years when I was working.

BagWoman · 29/03/2013 21:12

Def Clinique City Block- have used for 25 years over moisturiser. SPF 40 is sheerer than 25 but if you want a thicker primer type effect go for 25.

ujjayi · 29/03/2013 21:22

The Chanel gives a lovely matte finish without being drying.
