Foundation with good coverage suggestions please

Ok my face skin is officially grey, and hideous. I need help. I need a good foundation ( at this point money is not an issue- desperate) something that will cover the ravages of time and sleepless nights. Skin is sensitive and dry .
All miracle suggestions welcome.

You will get a gazillion suggestions .
I'll summarise based on what I've read here lately;

1. Estée Lauder Double Wear Light
2. Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation
3. Clinique Even Better (my current fav).

Will they stop me looking like a lizard.
Which one do you think is the lightest. Don't want to risk 'mask face '

Double wear. I agree with 1st post. Though if you get the original (not light) make sure you buy "take it away" as there's no other way of getting it off!! Xx

Bobbi Brown is amazing - lots of shades, and makes you feel lovely or I've heard very good things about georgio Armani maestro

I believe the Bourjois one is the lightest, it's the only one I haven't tried. It's in 3 for 2 at Boots currently.
Both the others give good coverage, without the mask look.
I use Bare Minerals foundation on top of BB cream if I want a lighter look but still with good coverage. Good for non work days.

The bourjois one looks like it has lasting properties. I need that too as I am a face toucher/ worrier.i look 50times more harrowed and flayed by 5pm. I see people on the bus who still looked groomed after the 9-5. How do they do it?
I need secrets people. Why do I look like I've been in a rugby scrum.

What do we know about this CC stuff. Has it got magic and woo?

Mac studio fix is the best ive tried.

Double wear is really heavy. You can get mac studio sculpt also now which has more of a glow but with the same coverage as the studio fix!

Chanel Vitalumiere might be a good choice if your skin is dry. Estée Lauder Double Wear light can be a little drying, I find. The Chanel option was my choice before I sorted out my dry skin.

It would appear CC cream is more money and boo than magic and woo. I won't be purchasing.
I think those that still look polished are

1. working in a competitive looks environment (retail, fashion, etc)
2. touch up v v regularly
3. slap it on an inch thick. My theory is based on my observations, not facts . I think heavy eye make up makes someone look more groomed.

Im doing a make up course atm and we use nyc primer(£3) then mac studio fix and a bit if loose powder on top and it stays put all day and night!

Thanks everyone. I shall be back after( highly necessary beauty sleep) tomorrow. I may attempt full eye makeup in the am dontlaugh.. It's worth a try. My colleagues will faint.
Will have a proper browse in house if Fraser and super drug at lunchtime and look at all the suggestions so far.

I've just bought Clarins everlasting foundation. its amazing! buildable coverage, lovely smell and the nude shade suits my pale skin. ask for a sample or get it put on at the counter

I love Bobbi Brown foundations. But to be honest, I think other people's foundations are going to be rubbish. You need to try a few before you know which is the right one for you. I only go with Bobbi Brown because they do the right colour for my face.
