vintage hen do - help!

My lovely friend is having a hen do in a few weeks time, and I need to find a "classy, glam and vintage inspired outfit" (MoH's description, not mine :)).

She's having a burlesque afternoon tea (whatever that might involve), followed by a jazz club.

I'm 5ft8, size 10/12ish, and very pear shaped (i.e. small boobs, large arse).

Does anyone have any suggestions? Budget probably only £70 - £80, and shoes and bags I'll be fine for as I own far far too many already

Have a look at lady v london. They have gorgeous dresses for about £50 which will sort your figure perfectly. Then an updo on your hair too will look brilliant. Just tried to link but don't know if it'll work or not

I went to a vintage fair today and met this lady. I saw some of her off the peg stuff for £30 but she also makes to order - £35 for the making and you pay for the material on top, a custom dress costs around £50.
She has fabric and you choose what you want, and she has a load of patterns, which again you choose.

I am going to have one made :)

wow, they are both fantastic suggestions! Thank you so much :)

Lady V looks perfect - I need it in about 3 weeks, so might be a bit tight to have one made.

I love the black polka one, and given that it's under budget, I might even splash out on a petticoat too (mainly because I've always wanted to own a petticoat).
