Pinterest/polyvore question

Hi all! That recent thread re using Pinterest/polyvore to get a grip on one's wardrobe was illuminating. May I ask a question though? I would like to upload photos of clothes I have and then to easily assemble them into many different outfits to see how they would be.

Polyvore seems to do that well by letting you store single item images in 'collections' and easily put those into 'sets' but I think you can only add items if you can find where they are for sale? I guess I can't just upload stuff I have from shops years ago.

my q re pinterest is: is there any way to store single item images on the site to assemble into different boards? I have to do all this on my iPhone - cant use desktop at all - which makes it harder.

Or is there another app or something that does the kind in thing I am describing better than either?

I recommend stylebook for the iphone [also works with ipad] www.stylebookapp.com/ - its changed my styling!

I've transferred most of my clothes pics from Pinterest to Polyvore - there is an easy batch import system. Using the pin it app/button you can either take snapshots of your items using the phone or look for similar items online (=better quality photos usually). You can also add an Add to Polyvore button if you prefer.

Thanks Jenny! Looks really powerful - and though inputting clothes might take ages it might be quicker if I use polyvore to get images I guess, and wd be amazing to have packing lists etc!

And thanks v much Frugal - I didn't realise Polyvore could do that. V handy.
