How can we get bra stores to re-size?

Any thoughts on how we can do this Mumsnet? Surely there's a way?

Why resize? Surely we need them to fit properly rather than change the sizes?

ilovepowerhoop · 23/03/2013 09:20

they need to change the way they measure not the bras themselves

RollerCola · 23/03/2013 09:21

Sorry yes, that's what I mean - how do we get them to change the way they measure and fit.

was there not a twitter campaign and a blog about it on here?

RollerCola · 23/03/2013 09:26

We need a 'Martin Lewis' of the bra world who has got the time to run a campaign, like the PPI one. It's a big job though, and the big stores are likely to be tough to crack.

Although, if they could combine a change in measuring with a change in their ranges of bras to take account of the inevitable larger cup size and smaller back size, that'd be greatSmile

I have asked MNHQ for a campaign, until then the more people that tell shops about incorrect or poor fitting experiences, the harder they will find it to dismiss them as "isolated cases"

Branleuse · 23/03/2013 09:38

i wish they would. Why oh why most places sizes start at a 34 back, I have no idea.

I take a 30 back and at a sie 12/14, I dont think im outrangeously small.

I cant even get away with going down cup sizes, so im not sure how other people manage it

RollerCola · 23/03/2013 09:55

I went into Asda the other day and there wasn't a single bra in less than a 34 back! I was shocked :(
