Double cleansing- has anyone tried it?

I've been reading about Korean skin-care regimes and apparently they use a 5-8 step skincare routine.

The first step is a double cleanse, first using a cleansing water then a wash off cleanser.

Has anyone tried double cleansing?! Are there actually any benefits?!

I always double cleanse. I sometimes use an oil based cleanser first, or just my cream cleanser twice (currently using no7 hot cloth). Not sure if it makes any difference it's just a habit that I have got in to!

I double cleanse, or possibly triple cleanse though I don't really count the first one as its just removing make-up with a wipe.

I find I get really clear skin this way - very prone to clogged pores.

Double cleanse and hot cloth... It's the way to go!

Well I tried it tonight and my skin felt so much smoother and cleaner.

Used a cleansing water first then my usual hot cloth cleanser.

Going to keep going for a few weeks to see if my skin looks better.

I always double cleanse anyway. I use any old cleanser that I have - currently an Olay one. Clean off with a hot flannel, then wash my face with Bodyshop vitamin E cleansing bar.
