Why, oh why have they changed the colours?!!

I am so pale I am almost see through and spent years trying to find a foundation that colour matched - finally succeeding with EL 1C1 Shell. I was palmed off yesterday with 1C1 Cool Bone, after being promised it was the same but nope, I'm back to looking like an Oompa Loompa!

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is similar to the original 1C1?

The cheapie Collection 2000 long wear foundation in the palest shade will probably work, and it's a nicer product. It's as long wearing as the EL stuff without looking so hardfaced. It's £6 from Boots.

Otherwise bobbi Brown or clarins do long wearing foundations in good pale shades.

Hopefully the EL salespeople will refund your money as they have sold you an incorrect shade.

£6 is a whole lot more pocket friendly anyways. I'll give it a bash, thank you.

Oh no, 1c1 is my favourite "long day" foundation - I haven't found anything else that matches my skin tone! Sad

Normally I mix the lightest shade of Bourjois Healthy Mix with a pump of L'oreal True Match in N1 - that looks very natural and lasts 8-10 hours very comfortably with no touch-ups, so might be a way to go?

Alternatively, NO7 seems to have a good shade range now...
